The Role 
We are looking for a Facility Manager to join our successful Genmab Facility Management (FM) team as soon as possible. 

The Facility Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery of all hard FM services at our location in Ballerup, Denmark where we have offices as well as a QC laboratory (approx. 1.500 m2 total). 

You will join a small team which ensures the smooth running and high standards for our offices and laboratory with a positive, proactive, and service minded “can do” demeanor.  

The rest of your team will be situated at our headquarters in Valby but will occasionally be in Ballerup.  

This position reports to the Facility Operations Manager, Hard Services. 

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Security and access.  
  • Day-to-day building operations including low practicality tasks. 
  • SHE (Safety, Health & Environment). 
  • Smaller building projects. 
  • Vendor management.  
  • Cleanliness and tidiness. 

Maintenance of technical assets (ensuring timely and satisfactory execution): 

  • BMS/CTS for the building. 
  • Ventilation.  
  • Central cooling. 
  • Air conditioning. 
  • District heating.
  • Water supply.
  • Electricity
  • UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
  • Emergency Power Generator


  • You probably have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent technical degree with experience from a similar position. 
  • Basic understanding of technical installations (listed above).
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and not afraid of rolling up yours sleeves.  
  • Strong communication skills in English and Danish, written as well as orally. English is the corporate language, and all written materials are produced in English. 
  • Used to working on the PC and with a range of different digital systems including Microsoft Office and Teams. 
  • Working experience within a GxP controlled area is an advantage but not a requirement. 
  • Experience with the delivery of FM services in a laboratory setting is a plus but not a requirement.

  • Proactively identify and implement improvements and efficiencies. 
  • Are a great teammate with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external partners. 

This role will be located in Ballerup, Denmark and is onsite only.
